St. Paul de Vence: Village on a Rock.

I'd been here before, but this village is gorgeous. I could take pictures forever and ever here and not get bored. It's a bunch of miniature streets with art galleries everywhere on this big rock, I honestly can't describe the prettyness of it, because it wouldn't do it justice.

A horse made of hooves.. I see what you did there.

Random sign in one of the little streets.
 Decorated drinking fountains everywhere.

From a distance.

Fisheyeeeee.

One of many random little restaurants.

If you're ever around, please, please, please go and visit, it's lovely.

Random places in the South of France.

This afternoon I got back from a week on the Cote d'Azur and we moved around quite a bit. I took lots of pictures everywhere, so over the next couple days I'll post the nicest pictures from every place we visited.

Here's a few random ones:

Ohhhh my god, these make me wanna go back so bad.

Muffins à la Banana.

I will never ever not appreciate Mommy making me Gluten Free Banana Muffins.
Their taste is like a little taste explosion of amazingness in your mouth.

Counting down the minutes until they come out.

15 a batch is not nearly enough.

Nope, my fisheye definitely hasn't grown old yet. Note my Mom wrapping them. She was actually complaining about me not helping her but taking pictures instead. But hey they came out prettay cool so it's okay.

They're best right out of the oven. ^That was my first bite. I wish I could say I didn't burn my mouth.

Ahhh I love food. I also wish I was a better cook. I don't have enough patience for cooking though.

House of Hearts: Post-Valentine Cheer Up Attempt.

Alright so my post on Valentine's Day was just about the most depressing thing ever, so I thought I'd go around the house and find heartshaped things. This isn't nearly all of it, but lighting was bad so I had to cut lots of pictures.

Lolz, I'm actually allergic to pasta. But it's okay my brother was only a little creeped out when I took pictures of his plate.

This one is actually up year round. In December everyone's all "Oh I love your Christmas decoration" and during February they're like "Oh I love how you put it up for Valentine's Day".. If only they knew.. :)

I'm not one of those people who go all "You shouldn't celebrate Valentine's Day because it's just commercial blah blah blah" because all holidays are commercial. It's the 21st century. I just wish it'd have been slightlyyyy better. Not even just romantically. But like, math teachers telling you they made a typo on your report card with your grade and you're actually really close to failing and while you don't have a valentine to compensate with the bad news.. Not so great.

Next year will be better.

What's you're pet peeve?

^That's mine.
It's not that complicated, English isn't my first language either, just learn it.

Pronoun = Your
You are = You're

You're pretty.
Your pretty face.
Got it?
In case you're still confused:

Thank you for your time, I hope you're appreciating the fact everyone can now use proper grammar, at least when it comes to your vs. you're.

I'm spending Valentine's Day with my two favorite men; Ben & Jerry.

It's been a bad day, apart from those 10 minutes where I ate an entire bag of chocolates.

Closest thing I got to a Valentine's card:

Hope you guys had a better one!
And that Singles Awareness Day ends quickly....

Tuesday 7 February 2012

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

Yessss, more fisheye pictures in the snow. This time not of trees and such but of my very besfran and I at her house. We vraiment need to chill more souvent and take cool pictures like ceci: (I have this Franglais thing down like no other, ah oui.

If I like animals? No. If I like her dogs? Still no. From a distance they're cute though, I guess, maybe, sometimes.

Selfies! Lolololol.
Resizing a picture of myself to XL because I'm supah narcissistic.

That was actually a really good day. There's not a lot of people I can just hang out with for hours without actually doing anything and still have a enjoy myself. We were eating croissants and talking about our accomplishments of that day: Go to a horse-riding store, take pictures in the snow, eat food. Gotta love those oh-so productive Saturdays.

Sunday 5 February 2012

Going crazy cray cray with my fisheye and some vintage filters.

As my phone got stolen, my computer was downstairs and I don't own a clock like normal people do, this morning I woke up thinking it was a respectable time to get out of bed. Yeah no. I get downstairs fully dressed and realize it's 5.30 AM - Now any other normal person would go back to bed, but I know myself well enough to realize I'd never have fallen asleep again, so I start roaming around the internet, as you do.

Then the sun started rising and the sky was all colorful with pink and purple and orange and I was like, 'Woahhhh I gotta go be a cool kid with my fisheye', especially since the lake surrounding our house (we literally live on a little island.. lolz) is all frozen with snow on it so I can go places I usually can't. Excitement!

I got dressed put on Uggs and a sweater over my PJ's, took my camera and braced the -15°C temperatures because I'm so very bad-ass. It. Was. Cold. To say the least. My hands felt like, lol, jk, no analogy is in order here since I didn't feel my hands.

At first I was slightly freaked out to step on the ice (... The rest of my family went on the ice yesterday, but just because it held them yesterday does not mean it'll hold me today, thank you very much) - but I conquered my fears and the ice held me, yeahhhbudddy.

I was getting really into it and started writing the word ice, in the snow, on the ice. When I was finishing up the C I really started to appreciated the fact ice is a three-letter-word because my hands were by now about to freeze and chip off. After this I also decided it was enough for today and went back inside, where I forced my 12 year old brother to hold my hand because he loves doing that and making me feel warm I lied to him and said I'd play Monopoly with him later today.

As you can see I left my pictures almost completely unedited, just added in some really inconspicuous vintage filters.. You can't tell right? I know, it's amazing editing skills right there, you don't have to tell me, really. Oh you insist? Well if you say so, then yeah, I guess you're right, my ability to take natural-looking photographs is overwhelming.

Anyways, ciao amigos, I hope you find yourself on a tropical island, rather than one surrounded my a frozen lake. (Wait, if the lake is frozen, is it still and island..? Uhm, je ne sais pas.)
